Wow what an amazing wedding!!!! I‘m really pleased to be the recommended wedding pianist at Knowsley Hall. The beautiful Knowsley Hall was the setting where Roxanne and Chris said their vows and had a wonderful celebration. Roxanne looked stunning as you can see here! They had live music throughout their wedding day with the fantastic Violin 4 Weddings, Claire, playing gorgeous music for their ceremony, and I was so pleased to play for their drinks reception and throughout the meal. This day ran like clockwork with Jason leading the team at Knowsley Hall and it is such a pleasure for me to work here regularly. I love it!! Congratulations to Roxanne and Chris 😍😍
Wedding Pianist Liz Hendry at Knowsley Hall
As the recommended wedding pianist at Knowsley Hall, along side my husband Mark the Piano Guy, we have performed at many weddings and events here. Our company Live Piano Ltd has had a great relationship with this amazing venue for many years.
This photograph taken by Lesley Meredith Photography is of the absolutely stunning Megan who married Ant at Knowsley Hall in September.
She made an amazing entrance as I played an arrangement of ‘Save The World’ by Swedish House Mafia that I did especially for her. Megan, who is beautiful, would look fabulous in anything, but just look at that dress!!!!!!!!
I was thrilled to receive this lovely feedback after the wedding
“We were literally blown away the first time we heard Liz play the Piano at Knowsley Hall wedding open evening. We asked Liz to play some of our dance music favourites as a trial and we instantly felt the magic. We wanted to walk down the aisle to ‘Save the World’ by Swedish House Mafia and Liz provided us with a demo 🥰 it was perfect, romantic and so special so we booked straight away.
Liz playing at our wedding ceremony was pure magic. The music was beautiful, emotive, romantic and gives us goosebumps every time we listen back to the demos. We can’t wait to relive this in our ceremony video soon. Thank you for making it so perfect.
How professional was she? So professional from start to finish, from the demos which gave us a taster of the repertoire we wanted and our EDM faves. To the clear communication throughout covid and needing to move our dates. Would you recommend her to others? Yes – we already have ❤️
We will be forever grateful for the unforgettable performance at our wedding ceremony and we are very lucky to have met you. Thank you so so much, love Meg & Ant xxx”

What a scorcher!!! A heavenly wedding day experience for Tracey and Wayne at their Wrightington Wedding at Wrightington Hotel & Health Club in July 2021. https://www.wrightingtonhotel.co.uk/
Stunning bride Tracey at her Wrightington Wedding
This lovely couple had chosen a really interesting and fun mix of music from romance, to football, to military tunes. The highlight of the wedding was when Tracey walked in to ‘How long will I love you’ and I could hear the gasps as she looked ABSOLUTELY STUNNING in this amazing, stylish dress which I totally love!
This song by Ellie Goulding is a fantastic choice for a romantic wedding ceremony. Find out more about my top suggestions for wedding ceremonies by heading over to my wedding song list.
It’s been quite a while since my last visit here but Sean and the team were super organised and everyone commented on the fantastic service and delicious food!
It was great to meet and work with the guys from Trevor Matthews Wedding Photography who were capturing the events of the day.
Tracey left a lovely comment on my Facebook page
‘Liz I cannot thank you enough for your service yesterday. We had the most perfect day made even more special by your presence. You have been patient, helpful and a pleasure to work with through very tough times having to reorganise our wedding 3 times. You play beautifully and had me in tears playing ‘how long will I love you’ for my walk down the aisle. We will definitely be recommending you to everyone. Thanks again xx’

Beautiful brides Victoria and Amanda were married in Early July 2021 at Nunsmere Hall Hotel and what a fabulous wedding! It was my first time here and I absolutely loved it! http://Nunsmere.co.uk
This venue is stunning inside and out with a beautiful Hall for the wedding daytime, and a large marquee for the evening reception, or to host bigger weddings. The service here is second to none with very attentive staff and wedding co-ordination.
When I provided Wedding Music at Inglewood Manor on Sunday 17th September for Samantha and Michelle, I had an amazing day. These two lovely brides had a great time celebrating with family and friends.

This is a really beautiful venue for a wedding in the Chester area. A Manor House Set in 38 acres of stunning grounds, which also has wonderful and attentive staff. They certainly made me feel welcome!
I received this this wonderful email from Samantha and Michelle about their Wedding music at Inglewood Manor.
We just wanted to pop an email over to say thank you for providing such wonderful music on Sunday, our guests have all commented on how beautifully you played, it really helped make our day special! It was really lovely to meet you too, apologies we didn’t have much time to speak but hopefully the staff at Inglewood took good care of you, thanks again!

The beautiful brides picked a great selection of wedding music from my repertoire and couple of new ones. Songs included Forever Young by Jay-Z, Half The World Away by Oasis and All of Me by John Legend.

In my photographs, taken on the day you can see how beautiful the venue is and we were so lucky with the weather that I was able to set up outside on the lovely terrace for the drinks reception wedding music.

A Beautiful Cheshire Wedding for Mr and Mrs Harland
Last Sunday was a lovely crisp winter’s day for the wedding of Mr and Mrs Harland where I provided wedding music for their very special day at Cheshire wedding venue, Carden Park. My portable, white, baby grand piano really suited the surroundings in the shooting suite, with the rooms dressed beautifully by Angela and the team from Chicks On Wheels There was a luxurious winter theme and everything sparkled as if dusted by snow!

Scott and Becky thought carefully about their wedding music and wanted music that was special to them on their big day. Becky was an absolutely stunning bride and looked breathtaking as she walked down the aisle to ‘Amazed’ by Lonestar. It is so lovely to play something unique that I have arranged, at the request of each bride and groom. This makes their wedding like no other, and so memorable and special to all family members and guests. Other song choices included ‘I Won’t Give Up’ by Jason Mraz and ‘How Long Will I Love You’ by Ellie Goulding, followed by my arrangement of ‘Greatest Day’ by Take That for the ‘Grand Exit.’
For the wedding breakfast I played ‘When Love Takes Over’ as Mr and Mrs Harland were announced into the room as all their guests applauded.

For the rest of the wedding music I played a lovely selection, everything from Christmas classics, to Disney, to recent chart hits and love songs.
Anthony and Gill Rudd chose me to provide their vow renewal music with my White Baby Grand Piano at one of my favourite wedding venues- Ashfield House in Standish. The couple, who normally reside in Australia, decided to celebrate their many years together by having a wonderful ceremony to renew their wedding vows, and then a gorgeous celebration at award winning wedding venue, Ashfield House.

Vow renewal music choices
The day began with Gill walking down the aisle, looking absolutely stunning, to ‘Pachelbel’s Canon in D.’ The ceremony included beautiful readings from their lovely daughters. At the end of the vow renewal ceremony was a surprise for Tony. An old friend from his military background, Anthony ‘Bruce’ Draper played ‘Highland Cathedral’ on the bagpipes as the couple walked out of the ceremony hand in hand. This was a very emotional moment with this haunting melody adding to the amazing atmosphere.
The day then continued with drinks in the bar and photographs outside taken by one of our industry friends, Christopher Lewis Photography . Gill and Tony also had a video made by Lauren Simpkin Films which would be a lovely momento of the day.

The guests then relaxed in the restaurant with a delicious three course dinner provided by the catering team at Ashfield House whilst I played piano music throughout. Gill had requested a few songs which I added to my selection for the day including ‘How Will I Live Without You’ by Leanne Rimes, ‘Heaven’ by Bryan Adams, ‘Don’t Wanna Miss A Thing’ by Aerosmith, ‘It Must Be Love’ by Madness and ‘A Thousand Years’ by Christina Perri.

It it was an honour to be a part of this very special day which was all about the importance of family and a fantastic couple, still very much in love after their many years of marriage! It was fantastic to speak to Tony at the end of the day who thought that their choice of vow renewal music, especially music played live on the piano had made such a difference to making their day really special.
Saturday was a very exciting day for me as I love to visit new venues. The Macdonald Hotel and Spa, Manchester was the setting for the wedding of Jade and Rupert Butcher who said their vows here, in the presence of all their friends and family, a very special little bridesmaid- their lovely daughter Phoebe. Here I was to play the wedding songs for one of the most special moments of their life!
I arrived at the venue to find Michelle from Bow So Sweet dressing the room with a beautiful, white, wintery theme that you can see on my photographs. The room was divided off for the ceremony to be later opened up into a larger space for the wedding breakfast.
Wedding songs – The Couple’s Choice
The couple opted for ‘Heaven’ by Bryan Adams/DJ Sammy for Jade to walk down the aisle. (This is one of my favourite wedding pieces and there is a video at the bottom of the blog showing my performance of this for another wedding at Peckforton Castle.) Jade later told me how, as she heard the music being played, she struggled to hold back the tears as she set off down the aisle towards Rupert.
The couple opted for light hearted, upbeat choices for signing the register, and danced their way out of the ceremony to Steve Wonder singing ‘Signed Sealed Delivered’ with their guests following to celebrate.
The drinks reception was held in the hotel bar and then it was back upstairs for the wedding breakfast, with the couple entering the room to my rendition of ‘You’ve Got A Friend In Me.’
The couple were obviously enjoying catching up with all their guests during the meal and in between courses they tried to speak everyone, going around the room for a chat whilst I provided background music throughout. It was a lovely atmosphere and a great time was had by all.
Whilst there I met a lovely couple – Photoluminaire who were documenting the day with Photography, and also the boys from Starkfilm Weddings who were filming all the special moments.
Congratulations to Jade and Rupert and I wish you a lifetime of happiness!
“I first heard Liz play at an open evening at Ashfield House as soon as I heard her play she sent shivers down my spine! I knew there and then that I wanted her to play at my wedding as I knew that she would make is special and memorable and definitely give it the wow factor. Liz provided the perfect backdrop to our special day as she plays so beautifully and provides a wide range of music. All my guests commented how wonderful she was and there wasn’t a dry eye as I walked down to her playing.”
Why did you book Liz Hendry, Ashfield House Wedding Pianist?
“Because I heard her play at Ashfield House and she made me shiver and emotional with how beautiful she played, I just thought wow she is amazing! When I went to talk to her to ask about hiring her etc she was so professional and such a lovely person. I would highly recommend Liz to anyone getting married if they too want the wow factor she is truly blessed with an amazing talent.”
