Liz has played for many years at Colshaw Hall in Cheshire and it is always a pleasure to be there in such beautiful surroundings. There is a piano in the ceremony room for Liz to play the special song that you have chosen to walk down the aisle. It’s such a wonderful experience to be a pianist at Colshaw Hall as it is such a prestigious Cheshire Venue.

Anna and Hayden had a truly amazing wedding at the breathtaking Colshaw Hall Cheshire, where the sunshine took them by surprise to make this day even more perfect.

Liz loved the fun ceremony choices from this couple which included ‘The Friends Theme,’ ‘Here comes the sun,’ and a spectacular entrance from the beautiful Anna to ‘Dancing Queen!’ Liz arranged this especially for Anna. Liz Hendry with the brand new Mr and Mrs Shaw at Merrydale Manor. They had brilliant upbeat song choices including ‘Symphony’ and ‘Sky Full of Stars.’

At Merrydale Manor, there is a lovely grand piano available to be played during the ceremony. Liz Hendry also uses a Dutchgrand White Baby Grand piano which can be moved around for the drinks reception and the wedding breakfast.

It’s a pleasure to be a visiting Colshaw Hall Pianist. Here are 3 recent weddings there. It is a delight to work at such a stunning venue where there is a grand piano in the ceremony hall, and I can use my portable white baby grand to play in the main building for the drinks reception or wedding breakfast. https://www.colshawhall.com/

I had a wonderful time celebrating with Hannah and Tom at Colshaw Hall. I really enjoyed playing the Fleetwood Mac version of ‘Songbird’ for Hannah as she walked down the aisle, as well as some cool tunes for Tom including The Mandalorian Theme and The Super Mario Brothers Theme. I’m happy to learn one or two new songs for each bride and groom. I think it is important for the ceremony music to be a reflection of each couple!

It was great to see Harvey Films https://harveyfilms.com/ (thanks for the unexpected roadie help!!) and wonderful to work with Ian the toastmaster and Tracy from Colshaw Hall who are both really friendly, helpful and great fun.

Katherine and Andrew had the most amazing day at the very beautiful and luxurious Colshaw Hall in Cheshire. I loved playing the piano for their ceremony and drinks reception and what lovely guests they had who were enjoying the beautiful surroundings whilst celebrating with Mr and Mrs Scully. Katherine chose a gorgeous entrance piece which was the John Mayer version of ‘XO,’ which I loved arranging for her, especially the beautiful introduction. I was also pleased to play another of my favourite songs for the grand exit, ‘Clocks’ by Coldplay. It was beautiful in March at Colshaw Hall for the wedding of Shereen and Tom. I loved playing for their drinks reception and wedding breakfast. Shereen and Tom chose ‘Chase the sun’ by Planet Funk as a really cool entrance piece as they were announced into the room as The New Mr and Mrs Batchelor!

Nunsmere Hall Pianist

Beautiful brides Victoria and Amanda were married in Early July 2021 at Nunsmere Hall Hotel and what a fabulous wedding! It was my first time here and I absolutely loved it! http://Nunsmere.co.uk

This venue is stunning inside and out with a beautiful Hall for the wedding daytime, and a large marquee for the evening reception, or to host bigger weddings. The service here is second to none with very attentive staff and wedding co-ordination.
