2023 began with the most beautiful wedding for Lancashire Pianist Liz Hendry.

Suzanna and Ewan became the new Mr and Mrs Simpson at the amazing Bartle Hall Hotel. What a beautiful winter wedding.

Suzanna has great taste and picked ‘I’m Kissing You’ as her entrance music – one of the most emotional and dramatic bridal entrance pieces!!! They added some great unique touches to their wedding, the highlight being a blessing from their friend who is the Pastor at their church. There were some amazing room decorations and lots of treats and activities for the kids. This was a day filled with music, love and fun!!!

Simply The Best – Bartle Hall Pianist

Bartle Hall was the setting for this beautiful winter wedding and Claire and Tim were an amazing and lovely couple to work for with great taste in music. Featured songs were ‘True’ by Spandau Ballet and ‘Hey Ho’ by the Lumineers. Their guests really knew how to celebrate and were all having a great time.

Simply The Best – Bartle Hall Pianist

Myself and Tim cannot thank Liz enough for making our wedding day the day it was. It was the most easiest decision to make on hearing her play at the Bartle Hall open day back in April, as soon as we heard her we wanted her! We booked her there and then, had a lovely call with her to go over the song choices and she just got us and what we’re about. We wanted a song from the Lumineers for the brides entrance song. It wasn’t listed on her repertoire but Liz did it for us, absolutely loved it!!!

Such a talented Pianist and can literally play anything. She gave us goose pimples throughout the ceremony and all through dinner, everyone in the room loved her and commented. Thank you Liz for such a wonderful vibe at our wedding, you were definitely meant to be and so glad we saw you when we did. You’re amazing! Thank you! Claire and Tim xxx

In July I played for an absolute dream wedding at Bartle Hall for Melissa and Paul. I was delighted to play outside for both their ceremony and drinks reception.

The whole day was just wonderful with all guests having an amazing time with this gorgeous couple! During the drinks reception there was a fabulous white bouncy castle for the kids to play on whilst the guests relaxed with drinks. Liz performed at our recent wedding on a glorious sunny day at our outdoor wedding ceremony! She very kindly agreed to learn a song we wanted, to play us down the aisle, which she did within days of us booking. She absolutely MADE our wedding day, arriving early so that all our guests received the ambience of her tinkering away as they had pre-ceremony drinks on the terrace, during the ceremony, right through canapés and photos up to our evening reception. She was so kind, friendly and courteous and everyone raved about how good she was! Absolutely first class performance – thanks for everything Liz! Love Mr and Mrs Grimes xxx

A Beautiful Bartle Hall Wedding

I had the honour of being part of a beautiful wedding at multi-award winning venue, Bartle Hall,  near Preston.

Hayley and Anthony had a lovely ceremony here followed by a full day and evening of celebrations surrounded by their family and close friends. Bartle Hall is such a versatile and stylish venue where the guests can all relax and socialise as the wedding party move around the venue for the different parts of the wedding day. The grounds looked stunning for Hayley and Anthony’s outdoor photographs taken by Kris Clarke Photography  and the bar was cosy and festive, a great warm place to rest when the weather outside got a little cold.

It was fantastic to be able to play some really unique and unusual music choices for Mr and Mrs Fox during their ceremony.

Beautiful bride, Hayley walked down the aisle to ‘Kissing You’ from Romeo and Juliet. What a romantic choice! I then arranged ‘The Power Of Love’ by Gabriella Alpin/ Frankie Goes to Hollywood and ‘Real Love’ by Tom Odell/ John Lennon. It’s great to listen to these beautiful modern versions of classic hits and then make my own, instrumental piano version of them to make a special performance for my brides and grooms.
