Amy and Ben Birch chose Liz Hendry to play the piano during their Mottram Hall Wedding in the summer. It was a wonderful family occasion and this couple had an amazing day.

Why did you book Liz for your Mottram Hall Wedding?

We visited Mottram Hall on an open day and as soon as we walked in, we noticed a romantic atmosphere and it was the live piano music that made everything feel magical. Liz was warm, welcoming, friendly and asked us if there was a particular song we wished to listen to. We asked for ‘perfect’ by Ed Sheeran and out of nowhere, she started playing it and it was truly amazing! We asked her to check her diary for us straight away!!!

What effect did she have on your wedding day?

Every single guest commented on how beautiful it was during the wedding reception and wedding breakfast. It was brilliant and really helped the day to feel magical.

How Professional was she?

Absolutely faultless!!!! Amazing from initial meeting until leaving us on the day.

Would you recommend her to others?

Absolutely! We have already been asked by one of our friends (who is due to marry next year) so we of course gave her your details/website straight away!!!

Having you play at our wedding was just an amazing part of the day and we would not change a single thing about it! When we asked you to play “Only Fools and Horses” as our entrance song, you were so flexible. We can safely say that listening to it being played for the first time, when we walked in the room, just made the moment feel so much more special and we have it captured on video to remember forever. Every single note was played to perfection and it added a little bit of character and personalisation to our day. We can’t thank you enough for everything you did from start to finish. When we initially had to postpone our wedding, due to the pandemic, you fitted in with our new date straight away and allowed us to few relaxed about everything.

Keep being yourself Liz – you’re truly a very talented pianist with a heart of gold and there will be so many more couples (both before and after us) who will feel the same way as us – truly blessed and lucky to have had to opportunity to incorporate your happiness, smiles and wonderful talent into the best day of our life!
